One of the most damaging concepts to human Elolight is the idea of free will. When we are presented with a choice, and have a list of ways we can choose to react, we believe we have some kind of greater power over destiny and life then we actually we have. We did not choose the body, brain, parents, location, or situations that went into making a choice, but the moment we make a choice we suddenly believe we had some external power over the choice we made. Humans will often say things like, “I should of” or “I could of” but these statements are always invalid because what you did is what you would of always done given the same set of variables. These retroactive statements don’t give you any power over the choices you have already made, unless you suddenly gain the power to time travel.
Imagine for a moment we are watching a lion pack from space, based on weather, food, and other variables we can figure out to a decent degree of success what the lions will do tomorrow. The lion however has no idea exactly what it is going to do tomorrow, it only thinks it knows. The only difference with us is we are not aware of all the variables that go into making decisions, but regardless of if we know what they are or not, you had no choice picking them. The idea of free will exists so that we react, and also to let us believe we have control. We are moving towards Elolight whether we like it or not, no amount of religious texts, atheist texts, or any other belief short of complete human destruction will stop us from progressing towards Elolight, the only question is if we will get there.
Why It is Dangerous
Religions use the expression of free will to gain followers for better or worse. A person sitting in a church pew will be told it is their “choice” to convert to a religion, however, they had no power over sitting in their chair, and in order to feel like they have power they will convert to the religion and believe they are doing the right thing for both themselves and humanity. The paradox is that religion has no problem expressing the idea of fate when it comes to miracles and good things. However the moment a religious person is faced with a bad circumstance they begin to pray for things to change.
People are only interested in believing they have no control if the world is acting in their favor. The biggest danger is that when humans come to believe the universe is controllable in a way dictated by free will, their consciousness binds on to this concept and if they are presented with the fact that they are not in control, and can actually accept it, they could have a psychological breakdown.
Don’t Stop Reacting
Life is beautiful, and the biggest beauty is in the experience. There is also a beauty in ignorance, we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, and that is not a bad thing; That in itself is worth living for.
A group of individuals stand on an observation deck of a space station over looking earth. They watch the blue orb below as a female voice talks to them, “This is earth, our originator. While it has the highest biological diversity in our galaxy, it also has the highest historical death toll of organic life.” A child no more then 10 years old who had went through flash education looks over at the woman, “What is your opinion of the great human exodus from earth?” The woman snaps back to reality from reading her rehearsed script from memory, “Well there was really no reason to leave. After the human race completed cellular re-calibration, there was nothing stopping us from living there indefinitely.” The woman paused for a moment and then breathing out said, “I am of the opinion that there is the hope that something new will emerge from it that can associate itself with us.” The child looked at the woman with an inquisitive look, “You mean you were of the opinion right? According to hyper quantum mechanics we can predict everything that will happen on that planet down to the atom.” The woman frowned a bit, “Yes, of course, I meant was of the opinion.”
There is a commonly held belief that as much as we discover, there will always be more. Another concept that is related to this is that even if we figured out how everything works in science, there will always be the spiritual realm to discover. What if there is a limit? A critical mass of knowledge that can explain everything. Let’s hypothetically imagine for a moment that through neurotheology we could explain things like spirituality, religion, and we even discover that, through some means we are currently not fully aware of, our brains are all communicating with each other and this explains everything from coincidence to remote viewing. How would we handle this?
If the universe is discovered and we can even explain spirituality, what would the future of humanity hold? This idea might be disastrous to some and I don’t think it would be limited to those deeply religious or spiritual individuals either. A lot of scientists, including famous atheist Richard Dawkins, believe that we don’t need religion because there is so much to be discovered in science. Science is an endless well of things that will astound us, that is the hope, but what if they are wrong? I also personally believe that a lot of scientists who maintain religious ties do so because they personally want to believe that there will always be something more for them to discover. Francis Collins, one of the primary directors of the human genome project, is an evangelical christian.
There is a lot of different ideas about our existence such as us being the product of a divine entity, a product of chemical chance, and also that we are all God. If all those ideas were wrong, what would we be? We’re not a creation of a third party (God), we are not here simply by chemical chance (a mere bi-product of galaxy emergence), and we are also not God. So what are we? This might seem like a logical impossibility, surely one of those previous ideas has to be the correct one. There is another possible explanation and that is we are the birth place of that thing we call God or as I title the process, Elolight. This universe is nothing but a womb and every life form that emerges in it has nothing more then the potential of ripping a multidimensional tear in the universe to escape to a reality beyond this one. The biggest danger is not discovery, or that things will die, the biggest danger is that this universe will not give birth to its intended child.
We see our world through emotion and this is unavoidable. Our emotions tell us when there is something wrong with our lives and helps us to figure out how we want to react to different events in our lives. The common belief is that our primary motivator and decision making process should revolve around obtaining happiness. Our emotions, however, can be our biggest deceivers such as short term highs that result in longer term negative consequences like the emotional catastrophe that the use of highly addictive drugs can bring on.
In Naturalization & Happiness I talked about how after one year a person becoming a paraplegic and a lottery winner were equally happy. The biggest deception that can occur is when life moves someone to a new state in their life (The Flow) and it is so superior to their previous life that they become elated and stagnant. I met a man who was pushed into the flow by his father having a stroke and he was compelled to move. He lost his good paying job at a corrections facility and all his previous friends. He kept repeating to me how it was so strange that life can just suddenly make a complete turn. Though he was making less money he, throughout the conversation, kept insisting he was more happy now. Yet he talked very little about his own life and instead talked about his brother who he helped put through aviation school and was now making almost twice what he was. The entire conversation was marked by him trying to convince me of all the reasons his life was better now but it only convinced me that while it may be better he was still lacking something.
Happiness is a funny thing because it doesn’t really care about long term goals but instead forces us to live contextually. If you are both hungry and thirsty, you may become happier when your thirst is quenched but it won’t last. Happiness is a valuable tool for evaluating our present situation but it shouldn’t necessarily be the tool for planning longer term goals which could provide significantly more moments of happiness then your present trajectory. We tend to let our momentary happiness guide our relationships as well by staying in relationships that ultimately we know, consciously or unconsciously, will not last. Marriages that end in divorce don’t necessarily start sad or in turmoil but it is because society teaches us incorrectly. We are bombarded constantly regarding the context we are in with messages like you only live once or the glorifying of people that have won a lottery in the form money or otherwise in the media.
If possible, we should all avoid living in contexts. This can be very difficult and sometimes feel impossible. Both Bill Gates and Buddah in their stories share the common characteristic that they both chose to not live in a predefined context or conform to what everyone else expected them to do. Not conforming to a context might not be the greatest for your immediate happiness but can ultimately lead to significantly more happiness down the road for both yourself and others.
We are all obsessed with our feelings whether we acknowledge it or not. When evil acts happen around us we feel horrible and we are left asking ourselves why? The reality is a trait both good and evil share is they are both highly addictive. Most of us generally walk down the path of light because goodness corresponds directly to human survival. However, on both paths their is the hope of revelation. We are constantly hunting down the revelation of how the universe functions and by this I mean we seek to understand if the world is either good or evil. Many humans who witness injustice will feel deeply disturbed and try to right the wrong because the universe functioning the way they need is critical to their psyche.
How can evil truly exist if every evil act we classify as evil can lead to positives? Shootings can draw communities together and even make presidential candidates stop fighting and reflect. If evil is simply acts that would vanish with our demise then evil is not a persistent force. The reality is that the true evil of the universe, the invisible force that permeates all existence, is the fight. The concepts we know as good and evil are nothing more then masks for our selfish desires and a veil to the prison we are in.
We all feel there is something wrong with the universe and even someone who feels they have discovered the truth through religion longs to leave this universe. This idea has been with us since Plato and The Allegory of the Cave. All pleasure and pain is ultimately short lived but the war in our universe will continue until we choose to stop.
We all desire to gain more of certain feelings such as happiness, peace, or power. All of these feelings are fleeting because they are merely reactions to an imperfect world. We are designed to pursue these feelings because they satisfy the biological. Even meditation, the “hallmark” of spirituality, is merely a feeling to suppress the negative feeling of noise and chaos. So what is the perfect feeling?
The perfect feeling is not a sensation like we traditionally know it, it can be seen as post-peace. It’s an existence in a self perpetuating presence that is void of chaos and corruption. If one gains the feeling in this reality it is momentary at best. If one feels the perfect feeling, the moment they leave it, it will change to something else because the feeling can’t be felt or understood within the confines of our chaotic subjective existence. It can’t be compared to other feelings because it is only a feeling because there is no other close word for it. This 4th dimensional feeling can only be felt from within itself and this is what we are striving for with ascension.
There is a deep rooted desire in nearly everyone to change the world. It would be nice to think that this desire was rooted in some deep rooted need to evolve but the reality is it is not. The people that usually have this desire the strongest, on average, are really only wanting to change their personal world and by this they wish to change the world so that they can improve their own lives or maintain the life they have always lived.
When we talk about real change what we are talking about is disruption. It’s ideas so great that it can scare people, ideas that take significant risk to proclaim. Looking at religious figures such as Jesus or even Muhammad of Islam they achieved change not by pleasing everyone but instead challenging everything. They burned bridges with those that did not fit in with their world view regardless of how popular or unpopular it would make them. Many times people follow something that they believe is fundamentally different or world changing but are actually adhering to beliefs or ethics to satisfy some form of socioeconomic gain.
The view of changing the world is used often by politicians to manipulate the masses. They will say things like, “what I do doesn’t make me popular” when in actuality what they are doing is preferred by the majority and not the minority. Their majority will then feel emboldened believing they are doing something exceptional by siding with a “rogue” leader when in actuality they are merely playing into the hands of the politician. If a politician truly did a true change it would be equally hated by everyone and if their change managed to get success they would then gain fanatical believers.
If politicians don’t orchestrate manipulative events to try and get votes they are merely popularity puppets entertaining a some what average populous who is trying to find every minor defect outside of issues to try and validate a single human’s ability to be a leader. The political state of the world is something that needs to be fundamentally changed. Why radical ideas can be cancerous, complete lack of radical ideas will get us no where. Popular ideas are concerned with superfluous things that do not transcend a person’s life such as paying the bills. America is so obsessed with paying bills that they can not see that the entire foundation of their country is rotting because nearly 15% of their population cannot even read this blog post. It doesn’t matter what social policies you have or tax rates you have on the rich when your entire population is getting dumber. This is not progress.
We must become obsessed with things beyond ourselves in order to get real and true change. There will always be hardships and bills to pay until we truly scare ourselves with new thinking.
Most of the modern world acknowledges that slavery is wrong. Slavery prevents humans from being flexible which is needed for the race to adapt to rapidly changing conditions in both technology and the environment. Once we have freedom one of the first things we try and do is figure out what we should enslave ourselves to. The major difference, of course, is that if you choose to follow something it is your choice and you weren’t forced into it by anyone else. However, instead we now have unconscious slavery which is actually superior to physical slavery because if you can convince someone to do something and make them believe it is their choice they will work much more aggressively.
The best example of this enslavement is through religion. Religious leaders will get adherents by presenting people all the benefits of joining a religion, leaving out the history, and then tell you, “it’s your choice.” Having grown up in the Church, I can tell you that there is no choice, it is an illusion. While you’re being moved emotionally by nice music the religious leaders will say that if you are feeling called that you need to convert. There is no long logical conversation, or weighing of options, the emotional atmosphere drives people to do the conversion. This is not limited to any one religion, all religions do this, and everyone who makes a conversion will say they felt compelled or knew it was the right thing to do. They ignore the fact that a manipulative environment was setup or that their choice wasn’t really a choice at all it was “life or death.” It’s not a choice, it is an ultimatum.
I talk about Elolight as a driving force but it is not a master and it also isn’t a choice. Even if you were never made aware of the idea that humanity is striving for something or even if you don’t believe in God, you are still moving the entire race forward. It might not be much but you’re still doing it. Even a person in complete suffering is moving the world in some form or another. Your actions merely affect the speed at which we move forward.
As religion is starting to break a new form of enslavement is arising and it is masking itself as spirituality. If anything can make you perfectly happy it is an enslavement. Joy and happiness are very important things but if anything promises you absolute happiness and peace it is disingenuous. Discontent moves the world, if humans stayed content we would all still be living in tents hunting every day. Imagine we had infinite resources, should we hook up everyone to machines so they can live in a complete heavenly world while being pumped with drugs? While we think we want perfect peace and happiness the fact is we don’t; if that is all we had, there would be no value to joy and happiness they would become bland and boring. These new spiritual trends promise and may deliver this happiness by requesting you submit and accept things. They explain to us that we are not masters and we should simply submit to the “masters of the universe”.
We are the masters of the universe, the sun does not wish to own the universe, God does not wish to own the universe, but we do. If you believe in God all you need to do to prove this point is look at scriptures. In the old testament who was given the authority to name the animals? Gods of scriptures did not create this universe so that we could simply be puppets. Organic life is the only thing that could come to control the universe and the best creature that we are aware of that has this capability right now is the human race; all other creatures are simply concerned with getting tomorrow’s meal.
While I do talk about spirituality on this blog let me make the clear distinction that I don’t believe spirituality is about submission; I believe it is about progression. I truly believe that anyone who preaches submission based spirituality is only doing it so that they may be, by proxy, in control of you whether they know it or not.
